MEET OUR MINISTERS

Pastor Buddy Kemner Pastor Buddy is retired but still preaches and teaches from time to time. He enjoys performing weddings. He did his undergraduate work at University of Florida and finished at Murray State. His seminary work was done at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He also attended, but did not complete his doctorate at Boston University. He is married to Vicki since 1969. They have three children and four grandchildren. Pastor Buddy's robe is optional upon request. The stole is from Jerusalem and made by Palestinian Christians. He purchased it in 1986 while in Israel.
Pastor Larry Freeman Dr.  Larry has been a pastor for the past 44 years. He pastored churches in North Carolina, Florida and Tennessee . His last pastorate being Pathways Community Church in Sevierville, TN. where he recently retired. He is a graduate of Southern Pilgrim College, Pfeiffer College, and received doctorates from Indiana Wesleyan University and United Wesleyan College. He lives in Kodak, TN. with his wife Pat. They have two children and four grandchildren.
Reverend Dewayne Welch Reverend Welch has been in the ministry since 1978. He is ordained through Ministry International. Reverend Welch is a New Orleans transplant. He and Cathleen have 6 children and 9 grandchildren. Rev Welch loves new beginnings and sees God's grace in weddings as a new beginning!
Reverend Jim Chambers Chaplain Jim Chambers is retired military. He owns and operates a stables in Sevier County. He will probably be your minister for a western wedding.
Pastor Brian Huff Pastor Brian Huff has been a pastor for 19 years, pastoring several churches in Sevier County. He  has a Doctorate in Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary and pastored Hills Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Pittman Center  for 10 years.  Brian lives in the Arts and Crafts Community in Gatlinburg and enjoys meeting people, riding his motorcycle, hiking and bodybuilding.  He loves meeting people thru the wedding ministry with Smoky Mountain Weddings but most importantly loves preaching the gospel and gives God all of the glory for a wonderful life.

MEET OUR WEDDING COORDINATORS and PHOTOGRAPHERS

Mary Mary has been married for eight years and has three girls, all under the age of six! She has a bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She works as our office manager and as a professional photographer on the weekends. She loves photography and has even won an award for her photography!
Melissa Melissa has been happily married for 7 years and has 3 fur babies - Jade, Link, and Onyx. She loves crafts, reading, and animals. Melissa works for Smokey Mountain Wedding as a Wedding Coordinator and when she is not booking weddings, she is making floral arrangements for our upcoming brides!
Susie Susie began as a planner six years ago. She is now our lead photographer. She is widowed and has one child. She also helps Vicki with decorations and flower arrangements. In addition, she also fills in from time to time with video taping.
Vicki Vicki is a second grade school teacher. She helps Susie during the summer and after school. She also fills in for photography with 6 years experience shooting pictures of brides and grooms. (Most of the pictures on this website are her work.) Vicki is also our artisan who helps create the beautiful bouquets as well as the other many wedding accessories and decorations.

Eric Eric is a school teacher. He turns his hobby into a profession in the summer and Saturdays with us. Eric has completed the Sony Basic and Advanced Digital Photography Techniques. This is good since he uses Sony  cameras for the best quality photographs around.
