Cataract Falls
From Pigeon Forge
From Pigeon Forge Light #10 and the Parkway, continue
straight toward Gatlinburg for 4.4 miles to BYPASS. Veer
to the right at BYPASS route and go 4.2 miles. Turn right. This will
be right after a stone bridge and a street sign will say
DEAD END. Go 1/10 of a mile to second left and turn
left. A small sign on the right will read CATARACT
FALLS. Parking lot is immediate as you turn. We will
meet in parking area. The walk into the falls is about
200 to 300 yards.
From Gatlinburg
From Gatlinburg Light #10 and the Parkway, go straight
1.5 miles. DO NOT take the "Pigeon Forge" exit, continue
on into the Great Smoky Mountains. At the 1.5 miles,
Turn right. This will be right after a stone bridge and
a street sign will say DEAD END. Go 1/10 of a mile to
second left and turn left. A small sign on the right
will read CATARACT FALLS. Parking lot is immediate as
you turn. We will meet in parking area. The walk into
the falls is about 200 to 300 yards.

Greenbrier Cascade
From Pigeon Forge and
Gatlinburg
Go to light #3 in Gatlinburg which is also Hwy 321 and
turn. (There is only one way to turn, left from Pigeon
Forge and right from Gatlinburg.) Go exactly 6.0 miles
and turn right at sign: GREENBRIER GREAT SMOKY
MOUNTAINS. Go 2/10 of a mile to a gravel road leading
into parking area. This is unmarked and easy to pass if
you do not look for it. (If you do pass it, you will see
cars parked thru the trees.) Go as far down the parking
area as possible. We will meet there. It is about a 50
yard walk and has walk down, but is not easy for folks
who have to walk with a cane or walker.
From Laurel Cabins to
Greenbrier
At the end of Obes Branch Road,
turn RIGHT on Hwy 339. Go 1.6 miles to Dixon Branch and turn
LEFT. Go 2.3 miles to Richardson Cove Road and turn RIGHT.
At 2/10 of a mile VEER LEFT (Over Bridge) to stop
sign. Turn LEFT on Hwy 416 south (Past the white church). Go
7.9 miles to Hwy 321. Turn RIGHT. Go 2/10 of a miles to
Greenbrier entrance on the LEFT. (Sign is there) Turn LEFT

area. (Parking area is past sign asking you to tune into a
radio station.) This is unmarked and easy to pass if you do
not look for it. (If you do pass it, you will see cars

Cataract Falls

#3. Turn LEFT and continue to last LIGHT, #10. Watch your
odometer or reset trip meter. Go straight

Directions to
Blowing Cave Baptist Church
Exit #407 from I-40 at Sevierville, TN and follow the signs
to "Forbidden Caverns" (Church is just past Caverns.)
You will go approximately 10 miles to a major intersection
of 441 and 411. You will know you are approaching this major
intersection when you see a Lowes, Kroger and a little
further up a Ryans Restaurant on the right. There are 2
"Left Turn" Lanes at this major intersection.
You will turn left at the intersection of 441 and 411. The
411 Highway is first known as Main Street, then Dolly Parton
Parkway and finally Newport Highway. The signs for
"Forbidden Caverns" will become more noticeable as you
change into Newport Highway.
Go approximately 15 miles to sign: "Forbidden
Caverns/Blowing Cave Road"
Take a right and go 1.8 miles (Passing Forbidden Caverns)
Blowing Cave Baptist Church will be on the left.
